Greetings! I currently drive a 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn(hemi). Had a 2017 Ram 1500 Bighorn before that. I retired in 2021. We love camping and we camp quite often in upstate NY and PA. We tow a 30 ft camper just fine. Our issue is payload as our tongue weight is around 1000lbs. The Ram 1500 Rev checks all the boxes for me. Increased payload and better efficiency. I currently need to refill gas every 150-180 miles on long trips. When working I leased a Chevy Volt for 3 years. My daily commute was 38 miles. In warmer weather I was able to commute using no gas. I went 9 months at one stretch with no gas other than when the engine ran as scheduled. I actually enjoyed the range challenge without the anxiety which is what the Rev would be for me provided it is not priced outrageously high. Yes, I am on the Insiders wait list.

Welcome to the site @js2555 glad to have you aboard. News on the REV has been in short supply. We keep hoping to hear more from RAM but not much info yet.
 
Exactly the same reason I am looking at one, #1 Payload, #2 EV for 90% of my day to day, #3 Boondocking power!

Welcome! I just got my boy a beat up 2019 Volt on the cheap and went through the EGR and some PCV vavles in the valve cover to get it to clear all the codes so I could pass the Texas emission won't run much at all for awhile as he won't be going too far from home with it. Those cars were ahead of their time and could probably have a real 50-60 miles highway range if they had just updated the battery to the latest tech and kept at it. So much nicer than other PHEVs as far as getting proper electric torque and not needing gas just to get some reasonable acceleration.
