What's new

👋 Welcome to the new 2026+ Ram 1500 REV Forum! Please post an introduction thread!

Hi fellow Ram 1500 Rev enthusiasts.
Just discovered this sight today and look forward to learning about the upcoming Rev.
Old guy, that has owned many trucks over the years. Currently have a 2022 Ford PowerBoost, Platinum with 7.2 kW On Board Power.
From the small amount of information that Ram has provided, I think the Rev will suit my needs better.
I want to be able to daily operate in electric mode. When I drive long distance, happy to let the generator do its thing. Being able to supply backup power for home is also a major priority.
Hopefully Ram will be more forthcoming with information on release date, pricing and efficiency.

Welcome to the forum @OneMore - Glad you found us!

From what the engineers have said during interviews the REV will be doing this. I just assumed I would use fuel stabilizer unless I knew I had a long drive in the near future. For instance, after labor day when I am not traveling or pulling a camper, I would fill the tank and add fuel stabilizer for the winter as I work from home and will only be driving my daughter the mile or so to school and back and forth the grocery store. Probably dont need it for the summer as that is when I do most of my driving.

Hello all. I'm from Ct. This is the third Ram Rev forum I'm on and probably still on the 5th gen forum, but I no longer go there. I'm HVAC by trade. I was an insider plus but got my money back. I'm a little disgruntled about the whole thing. Three yrs ago the Rev was at New York Auto show, I go every year, but insiders and public where not allowed near it. 2025 no STLA presence at all. 2026 the new Rev is at Detroit, Canada, and others, but no show in NYC. I've been Mopar all my life, even had a Viper for many years and part of that club. I leased a 2019 Laramie that was loaded with everything. Factory ordered and leased a 10th anniversary Limited that is what the Tungsten is now. I had solar installed in 2020 and determined to go EV truck when the Limited lease ran out. No Ram REV or Ramcharger, so I had to jump ship and lease a 2025 Silverado Ev Lt with premium package, the only one in my state, with huge battery, is just below what they call Max Range now. It's supposed to have 390 mile range, 420 in summer. The thing weighs 8500 lbs but 0-60 is faster than my Viper was still gets the equivalent of 66 mpge. I don't miss going to gas stations, charge mostly at home on level 2 EVSE with equivalent of a clothes dryer outlet, and never waited for an empty dc fast charger on trips. I go to VT several times a year and last winter I went when it was 5* above here and never rose above single digits there. Even though the EV has a heat pump, it really killed my range, even though mpge it still was over 40. No fast chargers where I go and on the way back rolled into fast charger with 5% left. This lease will be ending beginning of 2027 and I'm still hoping Ram will pull a rabbit out of their hat and get it here before my lease is up so I can come back home to Ram. I miss my Limited 10 anniversary, it was a beatiful trunk, split tailgate (more useful than Silverado multifunction) and I had a six foot bed. I love Ram interior and it's more intuitive than Silverado. I do like the Supercruise, although it's far from being great. Please make the REV soon so I don't have to go Trail Boss Max Range EV.

Welcome to the site @bluequadcab -- I don't blame you on being frustrated, I think RAM really messed up this process. At the rate they are going, who knows when the truck will be available. If ever. Thanks for signing up here and glad to have you aboard!
