No Mention Of Rev in 2027 Marketing Power Point

If you're on 5thgenrams forums, you'll probably know about Mark Dodge. They post a ton of dealer docs giving us insight and details on what can be ordered, when, etc.

In there you'll see a 2027 Ram 1500 Marketing Powerpoint.pdf which unfortunately contains no mention of the REV (it does have the bumble bee though so it is up to date). Doesn't bode well for 2027 model year panning out. Sigh - I'm ready to trade up but can't.

Yeah...had noticed that back when this document went out. I really think whether they launch the REV this year or next...the plan generally is to ghost launch it. That's basically what is happening with the Grand Wagoneer REV, you can technically order it and they are coming...but you have to be deep in this hunting for the first REV type vehicle world to know that such a vehicle can now be ordered finally. Isn't any marketing push or even easy to get acknowledgement that it is orderable from most dealers.

Have they done the ghost launches like this before? It does feel like the truck is basically ready with how much we're seeing them in the wild... Just let us buy them already! lol

It's not uncommon exactly to ghost launch a new powertrain option or trim I guess. Sorta odd they are doing it with this...but I suspect it's just all the hate on anything EV and particularly Stellantis electrified stuff in the USA right now.
 
CTech just had a video call with the Mark Dodge guys and I asked on the chat about the REV. They have no word on it either. They are all excited for its launch, but they basically said what Kuniskis said, there isnt enough capacity for everything. However they did say they see tons of GW Rev test mules out and about so they are thinking that my launch before the 1500 REV. My hope is they launch together since they use the same chassis. I still think it is going to launch soon, I just need to have it by next spring for my uses and can hold out till then. But Ram will lose a customer if they are not out by then as I will get the Ford Powerboost.

Yeah same here. Early 2027 is my timeline as well. Trading Cummins 2500 for it. Eyeing Ford PowerBoost as an alternative as well.
