No Mention Of Rev in 2027 Marketing Power Point

If you're on 5thgenrams forums, you'll probably know about Mark Dodge. They post a ton of dealer docs giving us insight and details on what can be ordered, when, etc.

In there you'll see a 2027 Ram 1500 Marketing Powerpoint.pdf which unfortunately contains no mention of the REV (it does have the bumble bee though so it is up to date). Doesn't bode well for 2027 model year panning out. Sigh - I'm ready to trade up but can't.

Yeah...had noticed that back when this document went out. I really think whether they launch the REV this year or next...the plan generally is to ghost launch it. That's basically what is happening with the Grand Wagoneer REV, you can technically order it and they are coming...but you have to be deep in this hunting for the first REV type vehicle world to know that such a vehicle can now be ordered finally. Isn't any marketing push or even easy to get acknowledgement that it is orderable from most dealers.

It's not uncommon exactly to ghost launch a new powertrain option or trim I guess. Sorta odd they are doing it with this...but I suspect it's just all the hate on anything EV and particularly Stellantis electrified stuff in the USA right now.

CTech just had a video call with the Mark Dodge guys and I asked on the chat about the REV. They have no word on it either. They are all excited for its launch, but they basically said what Kuniskis said, there isnt enough capacity for everything. However they did say they see tons of GW Rev test mules out and about so they are thinking that my launch before the 1500 REV. My hope is they launch together since they use the same chassis. I still think it is going to launch soon, I just need to have it by next spring for my uses and can hold out till then. But Ram will lose a customer if they are not out by then as I will get the Ford Powerboost.

Yeah same here. Early 2027 is my timeline as well. Trading Cummins 2500 for it. Eyeing Ford PowerBoost as an alternative as well.

They already lost me, a lifetime mopar customer, when they didn't make good on it two years ago. The lease on my SEV is up Feb. 1st next year. I was hoping to come back but disappointed again, they keep saying it will be out and keep delaying it. Makes me sad.

Supplier leaks suggests April order timeframe, although that is no guarantee. We have seen leaks of production before which have never materialized into consumer available products....

Very odd since these vehicles are uncamo on the road and have been for over a year.

I ended up getting a used 24' Sierra EV with the max range. I got tired of paying for diesel and waiting because who knows if they will delay again. I don't think they will because the Jeep is coming soon. I had a Cybertruck but the attention got very old quickly. Most advanced wild vehicle I've driven. Once you get used to an EV its hard to go back to ICE because of the power, smoothness, and the driving characteristics. But once they get it released I may consider it for the next one.

What’s the range?

Shows 450-470. From what I've gathered so far. 80mph highway will be about 420. 70mph would be 470. In town would get me probably over 500. And haven't towed yet but I will soon. I'm in the construction equipment rental business. It should cut those in half. Also winter will knock off 25% or so. I drive 80-100 miles a day and haven't had any range anxiety yet. I forgot to charge last night. Not gonna effect me at all. Still love the idea of the REV. But I picked up the truck out of state. Had to charge once on the way back. We have two dogs and a kid on the way but by the time we all went to the bathroom it was ready to go. For me stopping to charge isn't a huge deal. The Rev's 14k towing limit vs my 10k is a big deal to me.
