Pretty funny. Every time I started to take photos they slowed down. Saw them over a 3 hour period; about 10-20 miles from each other. Temperature testing? It was up to about 110.

Really seems like a ghost launch is close probably. Wonder why this is the approach? Seems this will be a pretty mature setup when it finally launches as I doubt this is even the first year they have done something like this. I'm sure stuff like this was getting done with trucks that didn't even have the REV trim and were impossible to identify as a rev. Even the charge port on the EREV doesn't need to be handy and could be buried under the hood or something if you haven't produced body panels with the port in the side yet.

Props dude! I am still a bit baffled how close these probably are and there is absolute silence from the RAM marketing team about that. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer REV is the same...folks putting in orders already and not a peep from the marketing team or efforts to get them to media. Wonder how many have been produced for stuff like this at this point?
 
The white model has the e-torque emblem and the black has the REV emblem. Both have the door on the panel although these panels and such are pretty interchangeable with most 1500s I imagine.

They are using the time to battle test the vehicle, tune the Pentastar, refit for the NACS port, or these are all just mules for something else and using the REV skin as cover.

Plant scheduling is still not been leaked. It is still publicly listed for 2026 release but that has changed a few times. Many of us are running (or have run) out of time and come a few weeks from now I will be purchasing something as I will have to.

The question is - in October of 2026, will I be able to afford a Tungsten or limited at 75K. :(

That is where they are on my Limited

Great to see they are still testing them, hopefully that means they are still on track for late 2026 release. The fact that there are 2 of them is more re-assuring as well. If it was just one, it could be that the person "testing" it could just be on a road trip for any number of reasons. With 2, they should be working through 2 different scenarios, tunes, etc to compare.

The OG poster claims there are 4...I had meant to ask if they were just 2 black and 2 white or if he just only got pics of 2 or what he meant.
 
Even better, probably checking multiple different variables along the same drive. Hopefully they are fine tuning for a finished soon to launch product!!
 
Hot weather torture testing is good! Let's hope they are just putting the final touches on it and will give us some information soon!
