I guess this is a start, not sure why they started with the Grand Wagoneer and there was no word on the 1500 REV. But maybe a few of us will be able to test drive the platform before too long. If you get a chance to see one or test drive one, make sure you let the dealers know you want the 1500 ASAP!

We also have TK talking about the REV...even though he's downplaying it and acting like it's a big nothing burger and barely worth doing a video...haha.

Well, there is another snippet of good news, he has all his ranges wrong (electric vs gas), but if he thinks it is coming that is good news, he is typically accurate with what he says.

Just called my local high volume Jeep/Ram dealer and the sales manager had never even heard of the Ram REV or Grand Wagoneer REV. They haven't had sales training for either of them and he said that usually happens 3 months before release. He looked it up and did confirm they could order the Grand Wagoneer REV for stock but had no intention of doing that since they've got electric Chargers on the lot that have never even had the door open.

I put my deposit down 2/10/2023. I love the specs on the Ram REV but dangggg, how long can someone wait.

Totally understand. Everyone here has been so patient and it doesn't look like anything has improved.

This is Stellantis failing, and I have to say, if you are a DEALER and have never heard of the REV or Ramcharger, what are you doing selling cars? One of my biggest frustrations is when I test drive a car and know more about the car than the salesmen. I guess I have better work ethic, but if I were a car salesman, I would know about every car on the lot so I could be a better salesman.

Sucks that they are not going to even order one, maybe you lit a small fire by telling him about them and he will look into them now.

Some salesmen not knowing the cars I can understand. They seem to go through them pretty quickly sometimes and it would be hard to know every detail about every car. The managers and the higher ups that have been there longer have no excuse.

I have found most automotive sales dealerships do not add value to my purchase. It is unfortunate but it is a big machine. I often have to coach them on the order process and on so much.
The thing that they offer value on is doing paperwork, getting title/plate/registration on site, and test drives. Hard to do that online ;)
