    Update on the REV release!

I think we are probably 2-3 years away from real production capability for the sodium stuff. CATL is just now starting to ramp up their production and automobile use is probably 5-6 down the list at this point. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Excited to see some news...

    Update on the REV release!

Thanks for that deck, great info. I also noticed they will be using Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, maybe the delay was switching to those batteries as there are a lot of upside to those and a few downsides. The biggest downside is they dont work in below freezing temps, so maybe they have...

    Update on the REV release!

At the 12 minute mark (so you dont have to listen to the rest of info if you dont want) the guy on the phone they are talking to (Sam Abuelsamid) attended the RAM investor day and he says they still plan to launch the REV (and Grand Wagoneer EREV) before the end of the year. So there is still...

RAM Truck Announcement Livestream Starts Today at 3PM EST

Well, we can hope that all the hyped vehicles are done now and they start bringing in the foot traffic they are supposed to into dealers, so they can start working on marketing the REV. Hell, they don't even have to roll out a national marketing campaign for the REV, just get them into the...

    RAM REV Prototype Spotted

It is funny if you read that X Post, the guy didnt even know this truck was a thing . . . so yeah, I guess he missed a product announcement. But what is worse is reading the comments, almost nobody know what that truck is or they think it is the original REV and most are saying it was...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV appears in Detroit

I 100% agree. To your point, I do see a lot of "make it a single cab with an 8' bed and I will buy one" comments even though those are not options because nobody bought them. These are the same ppl that complained about the hurricane (which is superior in every way to the Hemi) because the...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV appears in Detroit

Well, I have started looking into the Powerboost as it does half of what I am looking for (will run my camper while at my property). I would rather not lose my ramboxes and MFT. I was willing to wait yet another camping season before trading my current truck out, but since Ram doesnt give any...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV appears in Detroit

The writing is on the wall that this will be delayed yet again. I was told by one of the Ram reps at the Colorado Auto show that it was going to be a 2028 model now, but I didn't believe her as she said a few other things that were not true. But the "Butter da Insider" youtube video just...

    Hello from RamCares

Would it be possible to post what auto shows the REV will be? I went to the Colorado Auto Show hoping to see it and it was not there, they didnt even have a Tungsten there which seems crazy to me (although our auto show is pretty terrible and seems to get worse every year).

Deposits down on the new RAMCharger?

Production starts Q3, the "Butter da Insider" youtube channel posted production schedules for multiple different vehicles and the REV was to start in Q3 for a Q4 (possibly late Q3) delivery schedule as a 2027 model. Also, it was delayed because of customers (not despite customers) as everyone...

Deposits down on the new RAMCharger?

What are you talking about, Ford is 2 years from getting theirs out and Scout is delayed as well. This will be out this year, they will beat everyone else to market.

Deposits down on the new RAMCharger?

The all electric "REV" was cancelled, there is only the EREV which is now called the REV. According to an interview with Kuniskis (you can find it on youtube) the delay stemmed from wanting the manufacturing capacity for the 5.7 as it is more profitable and they wanted to meet that demand...

Production-Ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV appears in Detroit

Here is a better video of that same truck from another person, they were able to get a Ram guy to answer some good questions about it also, so it is worth the watch:

    Interesting Quote for RAM CEO

You were not mistaken, you can plug it in, it has a 92 kwh battery. Here is another video from that same autoshow with the ridiculous BS sticker. This guy actually gets a Ram guy to answer some questions and is the best review so far from all the bigger sites.

Ram REV Laramie $112,000 Price at Chicago Auto Show

I am skeptical of that price, Kuniskis himself said it was a similar cost to a regular gas truck because there was no transmission. If this is the cost of a Laramie, then I will fine a different truck to purchase as I wouldn't pay this much for a Tungsten and I can afford it. Guess we will...
