I don't think we are only asking for broader public releases only. We are supposedly part of this Insider+ thing that wouldn't require a broader public release and could just be events or information for us that depending on how hyped we actually are as a community either comes out organically...
I think this is the main gripe we all have. The Ramcharger was announce end of 2023 and obviously got a lot more attention and hype than the EV version by those of us observing and interested in electrification, but maybe not yet on board with full EVs when we might want to tow cross country...
None needed. I think this is just commentary on how few it has showed up at so far. Just gives vibes of tempering expectations and reducing hype as they are still somewhat hesitant to even start pumping them out and selling them. Leaving many of us who are hyped and ready concerned we'll get...
Sounds like even the NY Autoshow the REV was a no show and annoyed a fellah on another REV forum I keep up with who went to that one. They really are losing the plot here acting like folks only care about Hemi in a weird too hard of a 180 turn in their marketing focus.
Thanks! Looking forward to RAMs next Insider+ communications and explanations of what to expect beyond helping get orders in early prior to all that if we're still holding out with our deposit down.
Thank you! I do think a lot of pre-order deposits have been lost and excitement for the release has waned a lot because all the Insider+ and other early REV/Ramcharger promises sorta disappeared with the delays and cancellation of the BEV and things. Really should have been more effort to...
Any clue why all the Insider+ promises for special early information and events has never really transpired and we generally are learning everything from autoshows and random public releases? Nothing really offered in the way it was promised prior to release here?
I sorta get the priorities...but even if it's not a priority they could include the folks that paid the deposit to be part of this insider marketing effort into some sorta events and info when they are releasing information on the vehicle. Even if it was just optional stuff dealers were given...
I am sure the REV will need to do this also, but would guess if you keep it charged it's a lot more transparent and just sorta happens without needing to limit you at all. May even be able to handle this while you aren't in the vehicle if parked at work or something. Really not sure why the...
I'm pretty sure it will come out this year still. I don't think there is anything holding it up anymore and some of the 2027 model year changes for standard 1500s now allow a lot more common build between normal 1500s and the REV...so I tend to feel that was part of what they were waiting on...
Agree...I think they will end up bit more than gas for the same content/trim...but maybe have more techy content usually even at the same price kinda thing. I suspect this was just some autoshow confusion since it's got the 2025 ramcharger label which is just wrong.
If you follow marketing images of the RAM REV/Ramcharger over the last couple years here it seems generally all the high amp/240v it has always probably been planned as a EVSE port output only either as V2H/G or just with adapters as it says in the latest page showing the menu. The latest page...
I suspect there is some Chicago Show confusion going on here being that it says it's a 2025 Ramcharger that's getting priced. That model never ended up existing. Wouldn't be surprised if this truck or some has been hiding out at that show for a couple years now with the same sticker somehow...
