Wow, that's insane!

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I had high hopes that a company would make a meaningful transition towards a solution to change how we think about electric vehicles, but I guess that was wishful thinking. Time to put my energy into something realistic.

Yeah, but notice the sticker. That's 2024 sticker (even has the old name, RamCharger). It's certainly not encouraging but not the last say on the price.

Thats just nuts. It's like they don't want anyone to buy them. They've been horrible at communication and now they price it out of the market by a mile?

That's Insane. I thought they were going to be offering these at a little over what an ICE model would cost. Guess they don't want to sell any of them. Such a shame. Stellantis with going back to ICE and HEMI's is a short term strategy that's going to cost them in the future. My hopes are now with Ford with there upcoming F150 EREV/Lightning.

The US has always been an outlier compared to the rest of the world. We're just built different :)

I suspect there is some Chicago Show confusion going on here being that it says it's a 2025 Ramcharger that's getting priced. That model never ended up existing. Wouldn't be surprised if this truck or some has been hiding out at that show for a couple years now with the same sticker somehow and that sticker is just somehow to comply with whatever stealership mafia in Chicago there expects if it's not purely a concept truck.

I am skeptical of that price, Kuniskis himself said it was a similar cost to a regular gas truck because there was no transmission. If this is the cost of a Laramie, then I will fine a different truck to purchase as I wouldn't pay this much for a Tungsten and I can afford it. Guess we will need to wait and see for actual numbers.

Agree...I think they will end up bit more than gas for the same content/trim...but maybe have more techy content usually even at the same price kinda thing. I suspect this was just some autoshow confusion since it's got the 2025 ramcharger label which is just wrong.
