At the 2026 Detroit Auto Show, Ram quietly showed the production-ready 2027 Ram 1500 REV, marking a major step toward bringing the range-extended electric pickup to market. Unlike earlier fully electric versions, the 1500 REV adopts a truck-first approach with a range-extender setup and multiple drive modes, and it will be built at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan.

Ram confirms production is set to begin in the second half of 2026, with dealer deliveries expected later this year. Read more and see the details at MoparInsiders.com: https://moparinsiders.com/production-ready-2027-ram-1500-rev-debuts-in-detroit/

yeah, by the level of communication to deposit holder (insiders -right ?) RAM seems more interested in getting mags interested again, now they gave ford enough time to make a competitor.

RAM has failed getting my loyalty, sorry.

I agree with you. They have zero excuse here.

Here is a better video of that same truck from another person, they were able to get a Ram guy to answer some good questions about it also, so it is worth the watch:

I hope they switch from the J1772 port to a NACS port, though. I'd hate to have to deal with an adapter every time I fast charge.
